Safes in the companyBruneau

safe under lock and key

Safes at the office are used for various purposes. The most obvious is naturally to keep cash safe, but this is not the most important reason for every company that installs a safe. In an office environment, it is often more important to keep computer backups and other sensitive information in a safe place. Therefore, always choose a type of safe that corresponds most with your company’s needs.

The Concise Oxford Dictionary says it all: “a strong fireproof cabinet with a complex lock, used for the storage of valuables”. The idea is that documents and other valuables that have been stored in the safe can survive fire. Remember that paper may be damaged at a temperature starting from 175°C. In the case of data, the critical limit lies at just 52°C. Besides fire and theft, safes also offer protection against light, humidity, dust, etc.

JM Bruneau offers its customers various modern safes. The Secure Safe is a safe that can be either bolted down or wall-mounted and may be considered to be one of the most sturdy and effective in its category. It is excellently suited to protect your documents or valuable objects. The following are some of its characteristics:

  • 3-mm-thick solid steel plate casing;
  • removable shelf inside;
  • holes for floor- or wall-mounting purposes, mounting kit included;
  • 8-mm-thick steel plate door;
  • matt steel plates to prevent the lock from being drilled;
  • lock: pins 25-mm in diameter;
  • lacquered finish in two colours: light grey and dark grey;
  • 2 types: anti-theft on the one hand and anti-theft and fireproof (in accordance with the DIN 4102 standard, double insulated wall) on the other.

The one-hour fireproof Secureline safe is also one of the best in its market segment. Its main characteristics are the following:

  • 80-mm-thick door(except 15 litre model: 65 mm);
