This is great for those who need more than a desk stapler for print projects larger than eight pages, and other thick item stapling. I needed to use this for a project involving some thinner pieces of cardboard. I was prepared to fight with getting the staple through, or enlisting my husband's help. Imagine my surprise when the staple went through TWO pieces of cardboard without a struggle, and allowed me to finish the project on my own effectively! The staples provided are great for larger projects, and I really like that this particular stapler can use two different sizes, offering versatility for smaller projects as well. The rotating lower plate allowing for bending the staple tines in the opposite direction look like something effective for using staples as a spine style binding as well. I look forward to trying different print and craft projects with this stapler.

The only con I have for this stapler is how to initially open the unit to insert the staples. The picture on the box just shows an arrow pulling back to open the unit. It looks like the entire metal piece that the staplers rest on will pull out. It won't budge. The circular tab must be pushed inward and then upward to release it from the stapler catch on the bottom of the fixed stapler guide. I like that the stapler can be stood on its end. Having color options are nice - the white color matches my desk. I assemble tax returns for clients and the stapler works better than my electric stapler on high page-count returns. You can also adjust the direction the staple legs go on the back side of the paper - flaring inward or outward.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rochelle the Office Manager I would likely purchase this product for our office.
This is a great product for completing projects that require rapid stapling of paper packets. It is very easy to use for a long period of time without tiring or cramping your hand. This stapler would be better if it could swivel or have a joint to allow the user to to staple other things (such as a bulletin board). With the current design, the consumer would need to have another stapler for jobs other than stapling paper. The stapler also needs to come with better instructions on how to load the staples into it. It is not very user friendly in this capacity. It took 20 minutes and 2 people to figure out how to load the staples without having clear instructions. It was also difficult to unhook the mechanism that allows you to load the staples.

I have to admit, when I got the stapler out of the box I was a little skeptic. This thing looks more like an UFO than a stapler.... But as soon as I used it I was completely sold. I work as desk clerk at a motel so doing paper work is every day routine. And since I don't use a stapler very often at home, I took it to work so I can actually use it every day, multiple times. I am really impressed. It might look difficult to use but in reality it takes less then half of effort you put in using a traditional stapler. Really easy to use and not very heavy. And guess what: my coworkers like it so much that they don't want to give it back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by VRae We are buying a second one!
I started using this stapler for small things inside the home, stapling the kids homework and tax items and making small books with the kids and it's been able to handle all of them with ease. Well, my husband saw it and loved it to and has since taken it to work as he gets more use from it than I do. He loves it, he says it's by far the best stapler he has used and it's been able to handle 50 sheet bundles with ease. We are buying another for home use now that he has claimed it for work. Great stapler, I highly recommend it. My only issue with it is that it's a little difficult to push the spring back in to pin it closed. Otherwise it's great.
