Rated 3 out of 5 by from An average printer First, I will say that I love EPSON printers. I bought this one because of the wide-format capabilities. As far as the ease of setup. It was pretty easy. The wireless setup was a bit of a pain, but do-able. Another reason I bought this printer was in hope of getting vibrant color prints. In my opinion, this printer is no better than any other printer in that aspect. The prints are rather dull and as crisp as I would have expected from a printer that boasts "laser-like" output. However, the prints are dry immediately after printing which is good because sometimes I print transfers for t-shirts. I really want to print scrapbook paper, but I don't really have that much faith in the color output, so I'll save that ink to print other things (because the ink tends to go quickly when printing all over prints) . The printer properties options (in the properties bar) aren't that great either. Overall, it's certainly not a bad printer, I just expected more from a printer with such new technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson 7610 I bought this mainly for the scanning features. I have an Artisan 710 and Artisan 837. I wanted a scanner with an ADF that would also scan in duplex. The installation went well until it hit the WiFi connection part. When it was trying to identify my WiFi, it froze. I shut down the computer and tried again with same results. I then downloaded the driver from the Epson web site and it worked. I still had to install the WiFi using the wizard. The program did not automatically identify my network. This may be because my router is several years old and may need replacing. The automatic document feeder works well with duplex scanning the few times I have used it so far. Printing is also good. It doesn't have the capability to print CD;s and DVD's, but I have the 710 and 837 for that. Have not tried to print photos yet, but once again the 710 and 837 prints excellent photos. Overall a great printer. Probably more than I need. But i'm retired and needed a new toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson WF 7610 Rocks. I needed a printer for doing much larger prints and for my photography and t-shirt business. I have had this printer for about a month or so and it's just amazing . Prints are lab quality, easy to setup and operate thru wifi and direct print. I love the print size it's produces. I wish they would make this printer model into a CIS Tank system.I have a lot of business friends who would be very interested in if it came with that feature. Right now everyone in the t-shirt printing trade is getting this printer from another source named Cobra Ink because they offer a cis tank system on many epson printer models that are not supplied by epson. So hopefully Epson will doing something and make them themselves which will bring in more business..If Epson upgrades this printer size and other models to CIS Tanks I know many people that would buy from them instead...Lets make it happen Epson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WorkForce WF-7610 Excellent Photo prints 4-6" to 13x19" Printer was delivered by FedEx on scheduled delivery date. Setup and software installation was very easy. Setup instructions are on one sheet and all software is easily installed from a CD-ROM. When software is installed the setup program automatically checks for an updated version of the software on the website. The newest version of the software is installed after prompting the user. The LCD ink cartridge status display is easy to use and very accurate; I shake a cartridge the recommended 4-5 times and print color is very good. Groves on the ink cartridge and in the Print cartridges are very easy to install. Groves on each cartridge and in the cartridge holder ensure a color cartridge is installed the correct way. Edge guides in the paper cassette are very easy to use and insure that paper is loaded correctly to prevent paper jams. 13"x19" (A3+) paper can be loaded into the cassette tray and into the paper rear feed. When you insert sheets into the rear feed, the printer advances the paper to the correct position so that the entire page is used. Incredible pictures using 13"x19" (A3+), 11.7"x16.5" (A3), 8.5"x11", 5"x7" and 4"x6" paper. Epson Photo Paper Glossy and Premium Presentation Paper Matte look better than other brands of same type of photo paper; I have decided to only use Epson paper for photos.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Happier w/WF 7510. WF 7610 has issues w/large size reprod. I am an amateur photographer/artist and have used Epson printers in the past. I purchased WF 7610 because it was suggested to me that it was considered a good printer for my needs, i.e. clarity of image, "true color" reproduction AND I chose it was because it was supposed to be able to reproduce larger versions of my art. This printer has the capacity to reproduce 13" x 19" prints, but does not appear to want to reproduce 13" x 19" prints. I have tried any number of ways to do this, but the printer either spits the paper out without printing the image and/or states the printer is jammed when it is not. There is also a cascading affect when you try to change print options such as print size. If you change it in one place you have to change it elsewhere. My previous Epson printer WF 7510, which I used for 3 years until it passed away, was much easier to use. I was considering purchasing WF 7620 and returning WF 7610, but am concerned that I will have the same problem with a more expensive printer.
