Epson WorkForce WF-7610DWF - multifunction printer (color) is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 391.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Happier w/WF 7510. WF 7610 has issues w/large size reprod. I am an amateur photographer/artist and have used Epson printers in the past. I purchased WF 7610 because it was suggested to me that it was considered a good printer for my needs, i.e. clarity of image, "true color" reproduction AND I chose it was because it was supposed to be able to reproduce larger versions of my art. This printer has the capacity to reproduce 13" x 19" prints, but does not appear to want to reproduce 13" x 19" prints. I have tried any number of ways to do this, but the printer either spits the paper out without printing the image and/or states the printer is jammed when it is not. There is also a cascading affect when you try to change print options such as print size. If you change it in one place you have to change it elsewhere. My previous Epson printer WF 7510, which I used for 3 years until it passed away, was much easier to use. I was considering purchasing WF 7620 and returning WF 7610, but am concerned that I will have the same problem with a more expensive printer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An average printer First, I will say that I love EPSON printers. I bought this one because of the wide-format capabilities. As far as the ease of setup. It was pretty easy. The wireless setup was a bit of a pain, but do-able. Another reason I bought this printer was in hope of getting vibrant color prints. In my opinion, this printer is no better than any other printer in that aspect. The prints are rather dull and as crisp as I would have expected from a printer that boasts "laser-like" output. However, the prints are dry immediately after printing which is good because sometimes I print transfers for t-shirts. I really want to print scrapbook paper, but I don't really have that much faith in the color output, so I'll save that ink to print other things (because the ink tends to go quickly when printing all over prints) . The printer properties options (in the properties bar) aren't that great either. Overall, it's certainly not a bad printer, I just expected more from a printer with such new technology.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson 7610 I bought this mainly for the scanning features. I have an Artisan 710 and Artisan 837. I wanted a scanner with an ADF that would also scan in duplex. The installation went well until it hit the WiFi connection part. When it was trying to identify my WiFi, it froze. I shut down the computer and tried again with same results. I then downloaded the driver from the Epson web site and it worked. I still had to install the WiFi using the wizard. The program did not automatically identify my network. This may be because my router is several years old and may need replacing. The automatic document feeder works well with duplex scanning the few times I have used it so far. Printing is also good. It doesn't have the capability to print CD;s and DVD's, but I have the 710 and 837 for that. Have not tried to print photos yet, but once again the 710 and 837 prints excellent photos. Overall a great printer. Probably more than I need. But i'm retired and needed a new toy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good printer with some stupid functions The print quality is fine. I bought it because it was an all-in-one wide format printer. That part is good. I print greeting cards frequently and in quantity. You have to trick this printer to even print on card stock. It does not have that option. Thus the stupid part. Every time you change the type of paper in the paper cassette, you must not only change it on the print menu (fine) but you must change the default setting for the paper cassette (idiotic). It has a rear paper tray and some papers you cannot even feed through the rear paper tray which makes no sense whatsoever. If you are allowed to print the paper from the rear tray, you can only print 1 page - what???? I almost returned it because of the awkwardness of use. I am still thinking of doing so. It seems that these days any time a product takes one step forward, it takes 3 steps back. Why is that? Are they really incapable of seeing when a feature is time consuming or unwieldy for the user? It is too bad because these negative features far outweigh the good ones. A printer should be a joy to use not a frustration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Home Business The Epson WF-7610 is a great computer for contractors. I am able to print out plans to bid at using 11X17 paper. It also prints out professional invoices and the things we need. Our kids can also use it to create great looking school projects.
